Google Docs is an online management application for creating and editing. Word processing documents, spreadsheets, and presentations can be stored privately or publicly. Owner's of the documents and spreadsheets can set the permission for use.
What Does Google Docs Do?
Google Docs is used for individual and collaborative projects. This can be done in real-time. Security is managed through Google and can be set individually. All Google Docs that are created will work with most word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation applications and can be saved and printed.
1. Review the Google Docs Video located in Web 2.0 Tools.
2. Link to Google Docs within Edmodo.
3. Sign up for Google Docs using your school email address.
4 . Share your completed Internet Scavenger Hunt with your assigned Edmodo group.
5. Discuss as a group how to put all of your documents into one final document.
6. Discuss as a group how you want the document formatted and shared.
7. Provide a Google Docs link to your final group Internet Scavenger Hunt on your Blog for this assignment.
8. Complete a Peer Evaluation for each member of your group and submit to your teacher within Edmodo.
